Check out this old house on 25-70 west, going to Dandridge. This isn't the greatest angle to view it, from another angle it looks taller and slimmer, which really sits well with these unusual dormers.
If you follow that road, you'll go through some curves, under a freeway, then end up at this intersection. When I first saw it I was stunned. What beautiful layers. Below is the same rock layers taken from a different angle.
