If homosexuality is genetic, that
means behavior is genetic. Which means that since one race receives
more Nobel prizes than others, then this behavior too is genetic.
Let's see...one race is smarter than the others because behavior is
genetic. Sounds as though endorsing homosexuality as genetic means
you are endorsing racism.
Which reminds me of previous
thoughts: If a couple could detect that their offspring was going to
be homosexual, then would it be wrong to abort it on that basis? I
mean it's just a blog of tissue right? Are some blobs more equal than
other blobs? _________________________________________________________________________
I was wondering about a principle,
where for every 2 moderate votes the Republicans attempt to gain,
they lose 4 conservatives. Not exact numbers, but it's the idea.
So...I see color newsletters about Christian converts in Muslim
lands. There's a picture of an older woman in the traditional burqa,
and a young convert in a strappy little blouse with lots of skin
showing. Think how that must look in that society. But hey, is she
just imitating what she sees the Western Christian women wearing? Is
there a principle of convert 1 lose 500? the apostle Paul talked about being context sensitive. _________________________________________________________
If you work on cars, you might relate
to this: for whatever reason, I avoided front end work in all the
years I've owned vehicles, which is about 34 years. I've done most
everything else, but not that. So I've driven cars that wore the
front tires unevenly, but just put used tires on. The truck I have
now though, needed some front end work, and I didn't want to pay the
$900 or whatever the going rate is. So I set about learning and doing
that which I've put off.. So far so good. I've done the upper and
lower ball joints on both sides, along with the outer tie rod ends on
both sides. I'm about to do the rest, which includes the two inner
tie rod ends, the pitman arm, and the idler arm. The parts are
ordered, I'll pick them up in a couple days. I'm hoping I don't have
to do the control arm bushings, they felt pretty solid when I had the
truck jacked up, but I'll see when this step is done. It will be a
relief not only to get it done, but to have conquered that which I've
been avoiding.

I have a website that is about my
commercial work. At that site, I have a page that documents an
experimental way of painting an 85 foot long rail car. There are new
regulations about spray painting, which would have been a hassle to
conform to. Painting with a brush and roller is outside the
regulations. The paint that is normally used won't allow anything but
spray painting, but I found an exception to this constraint, if done
in an exacting way. That's what the page is about, using this well
known paint on a rail car with a roller.
What's interesting is how many guys
(women are smarter?) are wanting to paint their car with a roller.
The search engines look for the nearest thing, which is my web page
about “paint a rail car with a roller”. The web traffic is great,
and the info is still very relevant to what they're doing, but the
other day I crashed the page, and couldn't immediately find the back
up text. Years ago, I read a guy on a blog warning his readers to be
careful what they say, that everything on the Internet is archived.
So I decided to try and find an archived version of the page. My site
doesn't have nearly the traffic that a lot of sites get, but it's
getting around 6000 visits a month, which might be enough for the
archive site to notice.
A brief search showed that there is
really only one site doing the archiving, so I went there. They have
no record of the my page or site. There is talk of the government
recording everything on the Internet, but that's not something
ordinary people can access. Of course Facebook probably has a
different archive reality. Which reminds me of a thought I had a
while back: It is known that the democrats were very active at
getting the vote out, canvasing neighborhoods and the like. Was a big
contribution to Romney's loss the fact that the Democrats had real
activism, while the Republicans sent each other pre fabricated
Facebook posts about how bad President Obama is?

We were getting too many roosters, so some had to be sold. My wife told my son to take pictures, and I was pleased at what good shots he got; but my first impression made me laugh. So, for those normal folks who are weird challenged, I've enhanced the pictures to bring out what I saw. _______________________________________________ Google Sites Rocks.... As brief as possible: My in laws aren't tech savvy, and their
employment situation needs a boost. My web sites help me, so I decided
to make one for them. I started with a small host-server company, and a
big name, complicated CMS. The server crashed, and the tech support was
even worse. So I decided to try a huge host-server, and a (apparently)
simplified CMS. Enter Google sites. One of the things I do is give
away free vector clip art; it draws traffic, and lets me give something
back to cyberspace, seeing I get so much for free. Anyway, the big name
CMS wouldn't even let me put an SVG file in a directory via control
panel. Kept rejecting it. None of the image uploaders would handle that
file extension, and using code to embed it was more than I wanted to do.
As it turns out, the Google Sites crew dealt with it a couple years
ago, albeit with what I think is an ancient file extension; WMF. I
couldn't get the color fills to work in WMF, much less color gradients,
but at least I was able to offer the clip art as a black outline, and
that right on the page. I've been wanting to find a way to offer
the color SVG as well, but not "parked" at another site. That would be
easy enough, I have an older primitive HTML site that lets me put SVG
files in the directories. Then I link to them from other sites. The
problem is that I want all the links and traffic to stay at the first
site. So earlier I was searching around at this form site, and found
information about attaching a file to a Sites page. I had seen the
attach icon lots of times, but gave it little attention. I figured it
wouldn't handle the SVG extension. Not only was I wrong, but I can do it
while editing the page, no need to use FTP software and all that. I'm
very pleased with this arrangement. Thank You Google Sites! Typical Free Clip Art __________________________________________________ After writing a post as graphic and foreboding as the one about guns, I get a mild case of writer's remorse. I wish things weren't that bad, I wish I could deny what I see, but somebody has to say it. I hope it provokes thought about those things, and, maybe less defending the party line for fear of reinforcing the opposition. I've been wanting to say a few things about this blog. My name is Jim, I'm a sign maker that has reverted back to archaic methods to ply the trade, because the business practices I encounter with the newer technologies are in a word abusive. I moved to a rural part of Tennessee USA from the state of California. I left as part of a plan that would eventually take me away from this country entirely. My version of conservative Christianity overlaps the local traditions in limited ways. So I started a blog to let the local people know what my religious and political ideas are, hoping that even if they didn't agree, they might at least understand the reasoning behind our positions and practices; and that I was reasonable. For whatever reason, web stats say that this blog is the most visited part of the website. It might be that the stats software somehow calculates the number of blog visitors based on the number of blog postings that are showing, compared to the way the rest of the site is made; giving a higher number that what really is. whatever the case is, I appreciate your visiting. I've tried to be very honest with myself for years, but in spite of that, it's amazing or sad how easily a little selective presentation of facts can lead to out right lying. Also interesting is how alienating the honesty pursuit can be. Sometimes I think about that word pedantic, too. Nonetheless, the benefits far outweigh the annoyances; I would have a hard time living with myself if I resorted to the party line or the religious tradition. Thank you for reading my blog, comments are welcome, I hope the buttons work. The reason I make all comments be verified is because I've had some really filthy spam in the comments section, and I won't let that sit for any hours or days.

These are just thoughts I've had
after hearing about the shootings in Connecticut. My first reaction
was oh man, another mass shooting. But I wasn't really relating to
how horrible it was, so I took some time to think about it. I have
children; quite a few by today's standards. So I know what it is to
interact with cute kids. I've seen some of the bad side of life; if
it happens again, it's like, well, been there, done that, I'll get
through as best I can. But like most parents, if you want to hurt me,
do something to my kids. I've thought about being separated from
them. The worst part is knowing that the little ones would be crying
for Mommy and Daddy, really scared of not knowing why they were kept
away from us. Knowing their fear and anguish is worse than
anything else I would be feeling. But at least there might be some
hope of getting them back. The parents of these kids don't have that
hope.
I try to think about what this act
is, what the motive or reason is for it. Is it war? Not in the usual
sense. These kids weren't bystanders in gang shootings, or involved
in a fatal car wreck. They're adorable kids who had just been hugged
hours before, then holes ripped through their little bodies at approximately 2700 fps. Kids
lying on the floor in puddles of blood. Do their parents try not to
think of these things? Do they go to sleep only out of exhaustion?
When they awake, is there just one half a second where they see the
new day, and start to feel the usual optimism of another chance to
accomplish things; when the horrible smothering reality hits them of
what just happened? That contrast might be worse than waking in
sorrow.
Some crimes I can understand the
criminal's motive, even if it's not the reaction I would have or the
decision I would make, I can sort of understand why one would do
that. But this thing, I can't make any sense of it. Maybe he was
thinking:”Well, if you don't like me now, you're about to REALLY
dislike me”. So he goes for the one target that is the biggest
emotional vulnerability. OK, but it doesn't add up. If he had enough
social awareness to know how special kids are, how could he go
through with it? Maybe if I think about it for ten years, I can start
to understand, but not now, it's a blank. For that reason, I suspect
demonic influence. I think a lot of people don't comprehend the
applied hatred that is completely void of any compassion, the calm
hatred that very, very strongly wants to destroy you. But that's a
different topic.
I think the intent of the second
amendment is obvious. The whole document is intended to limit the
tyrannies of government. The intent of the second amendment is to
give the people the ability to best the government in an armed
conflict. That intent would include bazookas for stopping tanks and
missiles for destroying aircraft. It includes AR-15s with large
magazines and lots of rounds in reserve. The amendment isn't about
hunting rifles. That's pretty radical by today's standards, so it's
just me talking, but to be better informed of what most gun owners
think, you should read Thomas Sowel's latest column at WND. It's a sober
look at gun ownership. Still, how many people entering the teaching
field thought it would include gun battles? By the way, if you regard
teaching as a noble profession, then you should never hold stay at
home moms in derision. The teacher is merely an aid in what the mom
does.
I think it was Thomas Jefferson that
said something to the effect that the document was wholly unfit for
an immoral people. And that's where we're at. I'm not advocating
surrender of guns; for one thing, the government is as immoral as the
populace. What I am saying is that this is a dilemma, there is no
easy resolve. I guess that in the time line of moral decay,
we had to arrive at this juncture. George Washington said something
like Government is like fire; a fearful servant, and a terrible
master. But really, read about him, he was a man of character. What
would (or does) he think of this situation? I don't mean violence the
world over; I mean this shooting in this United States that he helped
forge.
I even wonder if there's not a
connection. I went looking for some documented evidence of the
statement that President Eisenhower got funding to promote teaching
the theory of evolution in schools. I did find one site that appeared
to have footnotes. Kent Hovind has stated as much, but I wanted
another source. That was 1959, we all know that the supreme court
removed prayer from school shortly thereafter. If there were mobs
with pitchforks and torches at that time, would we be seeing this
moral decay now? God is real and attentive; His blessing is the
lynchpin of our well being. Were people so high on the victory of WW2
that they elevated government above what it should be; they forgot
what George Washington said about government? I wonder if the flag
can be an idol. A couple years ago, I saw it as a symbol of
oppression, now I see it as a logo for various causes, few of them
having to do with true freedom. I'm not anti American, I just favor
the America of long ago.
I've read comments on the Internet
that said when the government comes after the guns, THAT'S when the
fighting will start. Really? Look at all the freedoms that have been
lost heretofore. And our president just trashed the first amendment.
Seriously. If you're a true patriot, you know that. That wasn't some
little technicality which is part of recent legislation. That was the
end of the first amendment. The bill of rights is whittled away year
after year, but somehow, a lot of gun owners think that they're free
because they own guns. It's this identity thing, maybe it's something
to hide behind, a place to hide the eyes. I wonder if a mindset of
In Guns We Trust is idolatry?
As I said, I'm not advocating
surrendering guns, they might be needed if this country has a big
collapse; to keep order if the government wasn't able to. To defend
against rape and violence. But one must be careful of motive. From
what I read at WND, that's what the killer's mother was, one who
prepares for catastrophe. Back in 1999, a lot of people were talking
about a possible disaster with the computers of the world. I didn't
know much about computers, but my hunch was that something didn't add
up about the scenario. To be safe though, I made preparations. I
lived on the very top of a small mountain. Not at all the size of
most mountains, but too steep for what I would call a hill. So I was
up there storing stuff; food, water, and yes, ammunition. But I
started thinking about it. Preparing meals carefully, maybe with no
heat, so that the aroma wouldn't attract the neighbors. If they came
after my stuff, why, I'd have to mow them down. My neighbors. Even if
that was doable, how long could I stay awake? Sleep could be my
undoing. The whole approach took on a bad feel. I remembered how a
friend not too many miles away had said that in an emergency, he
would never have to worry about food out in his farming area. Every
guy around me owned a chainsaw, I had one plus working crosscut saws.
What if a barter could be made between firewood and food? The
firewood would serve both parties as a medium of exchange. I then
made a map of the local springs that had fresh water. I bought
gasoline and two stroke oil. In short, I started thinking about
community. The idea of being the lone well armed one killing hungry
people is a tragic mindset. Could we say that contributed to this
disaster?
I don't know if there is a different
approach to this conflict of interests between those that wrongly
think banning guns would fix things; and gun owners. I remember
hearing a talk radio program where one of the participants was
talking about how bad things were getting with donations to
fraudulent ministries some years back. He said that Congress told the
Christian community that if they didn't do something about the
problem, Congress would. That's when the ECFA was founded, for the
sake of financial accountability. Would it be possible to create a
non government entity that had an impact on who bought guns, and how
they were stored? On a related note, I would think that one would
have at least a few hours' notice of an unfolding catastrophe, and
could unlock the hardware then? This entity is probably a pipe dream
that encompasses too many volatile considerations. Besides, there's
the one that tramples the constitution. He has no room for something
that actually works. This is after all, the administration that
doesn't let a tragedy go to waste. That reminds me; Mr. Biden, we don't have a problem with violence, we have a problem with evil. The kind of filthy unclean evil that liberals endorse; the kind that destroys society.
Speaking of liberals, my advice to those presiding over the
annihilation of the republic is to dispose of the rest of the
constitution first, leaving armed people with the illusion of
freedom; then get rid of the guns last.

The Supreme Court is about to review
the issue of homosexual marriage. From my perspective, they'll give
it an all thumbs up. I hope I'm wrong about that, and the idea that
the Democrats will nominate Hillary Clinton (or some other woman
candidate) in 2016. While it's true that one could say there's a self
evident aspect of it; that they wouldn't be considering the cases if
they didn't have a change in mind, that's not what I'm thinking
about. I 'm not just making predictions, hoping to be right; that's
a fast way to lose credibility. Even if I'm right about every last
one, the issue isn't credibility in and of itself. The issue is to
try and validate a way of looking at current events, or at lest get
people to add this perspective to the way they're thinking now.
Another imperative for me is protecting my family.
People think it's the Republicans
versus the Democrats, or the conservatives versus the liberals; or
capitalism versus socialism, but look behind the scenes. What's
strange is how some very intelligent people who are or claim to be
Christians make no mention of what God or the adversary are up to.
They mention Bible verses, or start discussions about current events,
but never talk about forces behind the events. I understand not
wanting to play the role of prophet, or add to the Bible, or
misinterpret what's already written in it. Another thing they might
be thinking is that they need to persuade as many people as possible,
so let's not alienate the agnostic conservatives.
The problem is that leaves you
thinking that you're working in the realm of cause and effect, while
you're really only in the latter, and it's not even the effect you
think it is. I've been impressed with Libertarian thinking, but the
problem there is that there's no neutrality in life. Libertarians try
to draw a line that most people can live with, expecting that the
line will stay where it was drawn. But we're dealing with huge forces
here; that won't settle for partial success, the Libertarians have
merely drawn a new line of scrimmage.
I want to say it's Satan vs. Jesus,
because some people say good vs evil, or God vs Satan, but have a
wrong definition of those words. But I can't even say Satan vs Jesus,
because we told The Lord that we didn't want Him around. There is the
likelihood that God Himself wants His Name removed from this mess, so
He is overseeing that much. That leaves Satan as the biggest force at
work here. If you want to predict what will happen, think about what
outcome he would want. Again, I hope I'm wrong about this pending
court review. Being wrong would be a small loss compared to not
having a stable future for my children.
I've spent a bit of time reading the
Bible, or listening to it being read. I've also heard the major
theological positions regarding how the end times will occur. I
haven't studied them closely myself; in fact I haven't worked at it
much at all. I don't want to be obsessed with end times prophecy, but
not apply myself to teachings about everyday living, or Christian
renewal. I'm the scruffy grouchy guy that needs to work on “Love
God with all your heart, mind, and soul; and, love your neighbor as
yourself”. So, when I see current events, I try to see whether they
fulfill any Bible verses I know. One passage is interesting to
consider, that's 2 Thessalonians chapter 2:
3
Let
no man deceive you by any means: for [that
day shall not come],
except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be
revealed, the son of perdition;
[NET Notes, TSK]
4 Who
opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that
is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God,
shewing himself that he is God.
[NET Notes, TSK]
5 Remember
ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
[NET Notes, TSK]
6 And
now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.2
[NET Notes, TSK]
7 For
the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth
[will
let],
until he be taken out of the way.
9
[Even
him],
whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs
and lying wonders,
[NET Notes, TSK]
10 And
with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish;
because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be
saved.
[NET Notes, TSK]
11 And
for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should
believe a lie:
[NET Notes, TSK]
12 That
they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure
in unrighteousness.
Consider
these things:
1:
A falling away, this probably means Christians not caring about God's
ways;
2:
A man of sin that opposes all that is called God,
3:
Some sort of restraint being removed.
4:
People not loving the truth, so they get a strong delusion.
Christians
live lives very similar to their secular neighbors; Christian symbols
are being removed form our culture, now “BCE” is everywhere; and
morals are being discarded in society.
Other
than prophecies, the clearest verse about Satan's intent says:”(John
10:10 [KJV])
The
thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am
come that they might have life, and that they might have [it]
more abundantly.
It
would be easy to say, there you have it, all destruction comes from
the adversary, but can we be more specific? For instance, how does
gun control benefit Satan? Facilitates his coming dominion? There is
a verse that clearly says God will show people things to come, it's
in John chapter 16: ]
13 Howbeit
when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all
truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall
hear, [that]
shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
I assume you have to be walking close to Him. I try to do that, but
I'm careful about labeling any thought as from God.
.
I left California because I could objectively see the changes coming;
but at the same time I could just feel it in the air. Liberalism is
this big encroaching thing, like a locust cloud the size of Canada.
It has no room for any opposing ideas. The people in positions to
resist it ... don't. OF COURSE Boehner was going to cave on the big
bad “cliff”. You could just feel it. If it were proven beyond any
doubt that the president wasn't born in the US, it would not matter.
Nothing would happen, I can feel it, I can feel the seething
liberalism at work. One could say that there's evidence to make that
feeling, that the country which kills the preborn by the millions,
and passes unthinkable debt on to those who live beyond the womb,
doesn't have the stamina to resist.
Have
you ever seen one of those comparisons that shows the proportions of
an atom? I don't remember the details, but it's something like: take
a soccer ball, put it down. Walk across the field, place a tennis
ball on the ground, and that's the dimensions of an atom, the nucleus
and the electron. There's a lot of space in what we call reality.
God
existed before this world, is alive now, and will be forever after
this world. He's the reality that matters, focus on Him. Everything
here rusts, wears out, gets stolen, gets outdated, gets confiscated
or taxed by government, or is lost to foreign invaders. Look at
history, that's been man's story. The only thing that makes us think
we're different is the time bought with the public debt we're passing
on to the next generation. People spend a whole life building their
castle of dreams in a place that's full of corruption.
These
supernatural forces are huge, they're the cause behind the effects in
the headlines. Try to see that reality, and the implications of it. I
don't see a likelihood of widespread repentance among the populace,
so my advice is not to look for group protection (politics). I urge
you to look for an individual blessing from God. I'm seeing Him work
in my life, in spite of very unfavorable odds in my employment.
Reasoning says I should have no work; not only am I employed, but I
have some interesting jobs right now.
The
Bible verses above were copied from The Word, free Bible software
available on the Internet. If you've heard a verse before, but aren't
sure where it's located, this software will help you find it fast.
Also, you can search for phrases, then save them in studies that
you've labeled yourself.

I was looking at Bing news, and saw
the article about Hillary Clinton's rising popularity and what a
great job she's doing. Then I thought man, they're already grooming
public opinion for the next presidential election. I remembered
seeing an election button back in 2008 for Clinton-Obama; so I went
and did a Google image search for it. I found one, not the same, but
I also saw one for Hillary 2016. Well, that's confirmation enough.
There's an African American
commentator at WND named Mycal Massie. Just after this recent
election, he was saying that when people see areas where there wasn't
a single vote for Romney, they shouldn't think voter fraud; they
should realize that the black community really can be that singular
in their outlook. Now imagine what will happen with a woman
candidate. Even if the GOP puts up a woman candidate, from what I've
read, most women vote liberal anyway, the Republicans don't stand a
chance.
I wonder too if they not only have a
president planned out for the next 12 years, but if they have a
timeline of expected events. Hate speech laws by 2018,, gun control
by 2022. Not that it won't unravel by then. I was listening to the
radio yesterday; apparently there's about 4 billion left in the emergency
relief fund, but the Eastern states affected by storm Sandy need
about 80 billion dollars. Is it possible that the thinner one is
spread, the more vulnerable one is? How many more natural disasters
can this country take?
That all sounds gloomy, but the way it
looks to me is that people need to be prepared for an anti God take
over, and not trust in political preservation. What I've seen in my
life is that as I turn back to God in several areas where I was
getting slack, He works in ways that defy reason. It's possible that
if you're walking close to Him, He will preserve you individually in
the midst of hostile territory.
__________________________________________________________________________
A man I've known for years has taken
serious steps toward moving his family abroad; to escape this
country. I've been thinking the same thing for a long time, but have
only investigated it, not taken actual steps. I had a chance to talk
to this man yesterday, nothing too detailed, but more information
than I had before. I won't go into what I've learned thus far, but
one thing he said was interesting. A friend told him to wait before
buying land in the country he was intending to move to, because there
was a real estate boom going on, and land prices were higher than
they should be.
So I remembered hearing that Ireland
had suffered a burst real estate bubble, and listening to a radio
program about the real estate collapse here in the U.S. There was
mention that a portion of the people who had bought the mortgage
backed securities were foreigners. So I did a little searching on the
Internet, and found that indeed, there was a bad real estate induced
economic crash in Ireland, and that there are international investors
looking for the latest real estate hotspots. If I went on about what
an epiphany that was to me, it would be a bad indication, but what's
interesting to me is wondering how deliberate the players are. Can a
regional market be manipulated so that just the hype starts prices
rising? Do the savvy investors then know when to get completely out,
leaving others holding overvalued mortgages or securities?
The radio program was on the public
station, Saturday morning, back in 2008 or so. It was saying that the
real estate agents were running out of buyers; and they were altering
their qualification standards to get people into homes that they
couldn't afford. Maybe there is a visible cycle.

I heard the president on the radio
today; he said that he wants all Americans to help him pass his
resolve to the “Fiscal cliff”. Oh really? Because of him the
constitution is destroyed, the republic is ended, I'm considering
learning a foreign language and moving to a run down third world
country; and he wants MY help? I'm reminded of the Bible verse in
Proverbs 26:28, where it says “A lying tongue hateth those that are
afflicted by it; and a flattering mouth worketh ruin”. Not that I'm
taken in by it, but he lies about us working together, add that to
his boot already on my neck, I think he hates me.
Speaking of fiscal cliff, do you
really think this is an issue? My gut reaction is that the GOP will
cave, the only question is how badly. But it's the political side of
things, I just had what might be a reminder of what happens when
people practice politics rather than draw near to God.
When I do my Bible study, I first read
a list of subjects I'm interested in. They include things like cause
and effect, the evil of mediocrity, and taking matters into your own
hands.. Those are just several, there are a lot more. I also have a
note book and pen. When I see something interesting in the Bible
text, I make a note. The list of subjects helps me find more notes.
That one there about taking matters
into your own hands hasn't produced a lot of notes. That's not to say
the Bible doesn't talk about it much, just that I'm not being keen
enough to see it. Until now, the most obvious example is where Sarah
and Abraham used the servant to make offspring. That lineage has been
a difficulty to Abraham's descendants for a long time. Right now, I'm
at the end of Genesis 19. The two daughters of Lot have done their
deed, which gives rise to the Moabites and the Ammonites. They too
were a big difficulty for the Hebrews, for hundreds of years.
When Christians practice politics, are
we likewise taking matters into our own hands? I don't know that it's
all one or the other, but I wonder if weak Christian practices have
left us scrambling to save ground by means of politics instead of
God's blessing. Look how many things were started by Christians. Ivy
League Universities to promote Christian higher learning, public
schools to promote literacy for reading the Bible, and Seminaries
that are advocating homosexual ministers. All now enemies of God.
For the sake of accuracy, what made those three institutions
attractive to the adversary wasn't that they were started through
moral weakness; but that they were places of structure and authority,
which he wanted for tactical reasons. But isn't politics structural
and authoritative?
I'm not 100 percent sure of this, but
I think that the availability and consuming nature of secret sins
will keep the Church in America from making a comeback.; and is an
indicator of end times. Why would God bless a people who “honor Him
with their lips, but whose hearts are far from Him”? There was a
time when people could ban porn stores from the land, and regulate
television, but can the internet be regulated? As it is, maybe, but
the servers are all over the place, what's to stop some workaround
technology? The fact that anybody can publish on the internet has its
advantages, and I'm not one to quickly advocate government control of
a thing. I'm just contemplating our position in man's timeline.
Of course, if we are near the end,
then one wouldn't need be concerned about starting something which
will have long term negative consequences; but the point is not to be
distracted by that thing which seeks to save the land with little or
zero consideration of God. You only have so much time in the day, be
sure to draw near to Him by meditating on His word, let politics be
second place. Or third, or whatever. You might be spending a lot of
time with Him soon, best not to be a stranger.
