Meet the weird neighbors

Think anything will come of the
current scandals and controversies involving the president? I should
say anything like justice or prosecution. What I see is apathy of
apathy coinciding with some serious events. There's also the usual
apathy that's different depending on who you are: For some, it's our
guy that's doing it, plus, we don't like the ones that it's happening
to; so let's not make too big a deal out of this For some, it's just
more political stuff, so, so what. For others, they're so accustomed
to losing ground to the political media complex, that they re hoping
that the loss of freedom declines at the usual rate.

What I'm wondering is whether these
things are a stepping stone to more serious offences later. Not a
conspiracy by men, just a precedent. Society is already being
conditioned to regard conservatives as bigots. Now The healthcare
policies force Christian business owners to betray their conscience,
Christian homeschoolers can't have asylum here, and the IRS has
targeted conservative groups. It's a slow motion lead up to Crystal
Nacht. Why would liberals who claim to oppose religion so much give
so much room and protection to Muslims in the west? Probably because
they like any strong movement opposed to Christianity. To understand
what's going on in these times, look behind the political to the
spiritual.

A
sample of online definitions for the term racist. But liberals have
another definition of racist; it is that you can't even begin to
question the behavior of another race, you can't criticize self
destructive behavior, you can't mention empirical evidence of
differences. Do any of those, and hate is the motive. It's a two step
definition.

Let me tell you about the temporary boss I had this week. Being self
employed is like having a series of different bosses through the
year. This guy is African American, REALLY African American. He
sounds like he just stepped off the boat. A really appealing, but
thick accent. I was doing a small window lettering job for him.
Usually, my window lettering is a specialized type of painted
advertisement, but this was best done with computer cut vinyl
lettering. All that to say that when I was packing up the materials
to go to the job site, one small piece of vinyl fell out of the
stack, and never arrived at the job. I got there, he greeted me with
a very cold bottled water, this is a courtesy I seldom get. The job
sold for a pre-agreed $125, and as I neared completion, I noticed the missing
piece. It was part of the logo, not text, and wasn't very noticeable.
I'm waiting for a check from a corporation, and badly needed this
money for gas and incidental expenses. So I asked if I could have
$100 of it, he sternly says:”How about $75 instead?” The guy's
nice, but doesn't hide his authority. He has good English, none of
the “We goan do dis” type of jargon. He's also attentive to
details, as evidenced by his figuring out a solution to a possible
problem on a previous job I did for him. Most office people don't
have a mind for the hands on physical things, but he aced it. I don't
know if he owns the business, or manages it, but he's not hindered by
practices from the hood, by demands of the subculture. Can I
criticize the subculture, and not be a racist? Do I care? I figure
there'll be plenty of evidence to convict me of intolerance crimes
when the time comes. Sounds like Britain, the once admirable place of
free thought.

Speaking of tolerance; let's say that in the future, one needs an
identification of tolerance. Some sort of card, mark on your driver's
license, or mark, maybe a chip implant. So a guy learns a lot about
RFID, or forging official documents. He can fake the identification,
so that he doesn't have to actually show up at an office and swear to
the mindset. But is wearing around the ID in any form a public
proclamation of approval?

As long as we're revising the
immigration standards, what are the odds of allowing foreign dentists
or doctors to come? It wouldn't have to be for an extended time;
several families could pool resources and hire a dentist for a couple
months. Similar to people traveling abroad for those services. Odds?

Probably about the same odds that the
current scandals will affect the duration of the president fulfilling
the normal term in office. I say ain't gonna happen; scandals don't
affect Democrats. There's got to be a clinical name for a condition
whereby one starts seeing what one constantly looks for; real or not.
That said, am I thinking too much about the timing of events in the
news? Specifically, in two ways: the creation or emphasis of
diversionary stories by the liberals, and the belated ability to
maneuver around events by conservatives? That is, are they finally
learning to wait until after the diversion to bring up an issue?

I was thinking about the changes
brought to Germany and Japan during the US occupation after WW2.
Could that happen again today? I mean the same countries, not Muslim
countries. I have my doubts. America isn't the same, it isn't blessed
by God as it was then. Of course, if you don't clearly define “win”,
you don't have to clearly leave by a certain time; but, I expect that
as per scenes of people clinging to helicopters departing Saigon,
there would be little evidence of the US having been there.

Your subculture is your slavery, or
worse. Several weeks ago, I was listening to the public radio
station, probably a show called “This American Life”, it was
about trouble in an African American school. I don't remember if they
said it was such, but it was obvious which subculture it was. Obvious
on the radio, because the teachers had that terrible black
grammar. The “Yaw be doin' dis...” type of grammar. How can
graduating students have the freedom to go anywhere, as in any
boardroom, sales presentation, or media communication job, when
they're taught that way of speaking all their lives? Oh wait, I'm a
racist now right? I'm writing this while waiting for internet pages
to load over my slow connection. I just went and read a news account
of blacks beating a white family in Baton Rouge because they were in
the wrong neighborhood. Blacks are running pell-mell toward
isolating themselves, but no doubt it's the whites' racism which is
to blame for the consequences. Oh but cause and effect, effect and
cause; a kind of tautology happening here...yes,. you're making us
into a fine bunch of racists. I'm reminded of a bumper sticker I saw
the other day; it said “PROUD INFIDEL”.

I've long wondered about making
signs that would say something like: “Oh please, please! Let me
join that religion that blows up people, mutilates women, and
silences speech”. No need to add a name, everybody will know who
you're talking about. It would be downright humorous to watch the
objections. “Oh excuse me, are you owning that behavior?” Would
Asians object to one about imitating the people from the east who
expect excellent school grades from their children, orderly living
and a higher economic standard? What would the quasi-anonymous sign
about blacks say? No way am I going to offer any ideas on that one,
I'm sure that by now I'm the personification of evil even without it.
Just the guy trying to be brutally honest with himself. There really
is a verse in the Bible that says “...we have made lies our
refuge”.

Your subculture is your slavery...I
wonder if Satan places a strong emphasis on subcultures as a means of
leading people to greater sin. Your subculture is the means by which
you tolerate, then accept sin. Wait, wait! More sign inspiration!
“Please let me be one of those guys that trudges through the snow
to help some kids with their Christmas presents, but glorifies
drunkenness, adultery, and needless wars, while accepting divorce as
the norm”. Don't get ticked off, you might be owning it. When your
subculture is your identity, it owns YOU.

Sorry that I haven't posted lately; I
got slammed with a lot of orders at the same time. It was hard to
apply the 85-15 rule because most of these are regular customers that
I value and want to keep. By God's mercy I've been able to arrange
the jobs and parts of jobs so that they all meshed together without
total meltdown. That of course has a flip side: few of the jobs were
actually complete, and the ones that were finished were corporations;
who don't pay immediately. So I spend all my money on gas and
incidental tools, only to be broke while in a sea of employment. But
I did finally manage to get paid for a few, and some of the work is
far from routine, so life could be a lot worse.

Also, all this speculation I've had
regarding 2^nd Thessalonians has solidified, for lack of a
better term. It's still just speculation, but I now have clearer
direction about what is going on and how to prepare. Not clearer as
in less speculative as to the objective reality of the thing, it's
that I now have this strong hunch as to what all the political and
historical events are related to; not clearer as in I now have the
next 5 years charted out, but now I don't spend as much time
assessing a new business venture or calculating the practicality of
buying land and building a house. I've pretty much totally given up
the idea of reforming society by having some sort of influence on art
or media in this culture.

I wake up each day with a singular,
clear thought: try to have an escape route for my family. Even though
the whole thing is based on an encroaching threat, there's a
satisfaction in the clarity of it. I feel exactly like the scene I've
seen portrayed in movies: some guy or leader is standing in a
clearing, it's quiet, but he's looking side to side as he realizes an
unseen threat. He orders his party to change course just as the
ambush, explosion, or wall falling in nearly wipes out his group.
Cliché to be sure, but it's exactly how I feel.

I wonder if the “strong delusion”
in that passage is stronger than people realize. People always have
this myth of continuity thing. From what I understand, many lives
were lost in the Civil War because commanders were using outdated
tactics, lining up troops for a battle with inaccurate muskets while
the men were holding more accurate guns. Did the Japanese have any
idea that a nuclear bomb would end the war? Technology changes
things. When the U.S. Rejected God in the late 50's and early 60's,
did people have any idea of the media capabilities soon to unleash a
rock and roll and sleazy societal revolution on this country and the
world?

The direction of it all is clearly
anti God, which is unequivocally Satanic. What I wonder about is why
this gay gay gay push? It could just be to lead toward a similar
perversion, say bestiality. Apparently, Satan was very capable, maybe
even of striking appearance. Did he have too much appreciation of his
own form? Like the men body builders who have a very high
appreciation of the male form?

Does it seem like the government
agencies tried to make the public suffer as much as possible after
the recent “sequester” event? They have billions and trillions
flowing every direction, but the less obvious stuff couldn't be cut?
It's the government vs the people; job security becomes very obvious
at times like this, at least to some.

I had this idea that I could do more
accurate log splitting; I could split out some planks from logs if I
made and used a large number of sharp metal wedges made from high
carbon steel. I'm surrounded by these awesome hardwood forests, and
have this wannabe sawmill desire to get some boards from fallen trees
around me. My table saw, good as it is, only has a 3.5 inch blade
height. So I have to make planks no thicker than that. The current
project has a lot of neat details that I'll share at a later time,
but it involves some walnut logs being thrown away nearby. I finally
made 6 of these wedges from discarded locomotive leaf springs, and
along with 3 conventional wedges, was able to try my theory out. You
see, the problem is that the grain in a log often twists or otherwise
varies from the very straight direction that would be easier to deal
with. So my idea was to snap a chalk line on the side of the log,
then drive the wedges in along this line; forcing it to split there,
instead of where the grain would run on its own. That's what usually
happens when you 'walk' the wedges one in front of the other.

I did one section of the Walnut log
this way; (I absolutely love the smell of fresh split or sawn
Walnut), but then had a realization. I've been making tool handles
and parts lately, this Walnut will become a frame saw. So wouldn't
the grain be much stronger if I did let it run its own direction? It
would be awkward to get into the saw initially, but would be much
stronger.

All this to say that I'm wondering
how many other things can be done better by letting a thing run its
course. How often is God's hand arranging circumstances, but I resist
because I have a routine or “efficient” way of doing things? I
want to keep an eye out for these things.
