Is the President disconnected from reality?

So we're having huge economic problems, and the government tries to spend their way out of it. But this bailout, along with all the other programs that end up unfunded, made the president feel compelled to raise the debt ceiling to 14+ trillion dollars. Then,on the other hand, as an act of compassion, he enacts the massive health care program.
